CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, three residential burglaries, two grand thefts, one petty theft, one mail theft and six acts of vandalism.

ARRESTS

Drunk Driving - 1

August 8

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between July 30th - August 7th, person(s) unknown stole crystal from a home in the 30600 block of Cartier Drive.

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole electronic equipment from a home in the 6800 block of Verde Ridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

August 9

Commercial Burglary - A victim reported that between July 27th - August 9th, person(s) unknown pried a cabinet open and stole numerous items from a room of a school in the 30800 block of Palos Verdes Drive East.

August 10

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a home in the 2000 block of Dorado Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

August 12

Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between July 30th - August 4th, person(s) unknown stole a video game system from a home on Via Costa Verde. Entry was gained through a doggie door.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect stole a skateboard and accessories from a home on Via Pergola. There was no sign of forced entry.
