CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one attempt commercial burglary, one residential burglary, one vehicle burglary, one other structure burglary, one grand theft (auto), one grand theft, one mail theft and two acts of vandalism.

July 10
Residential Burglary (weekend) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a garage of a home in the 4100 block of Exultant Drive. Entry was gained through an unlocked door.
July 11
Attempt Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown removed a window screen and attempted to open a window of an office in the 6000 block of Ridgegate Drive.
Other Structure Burglary - A victim reported that on July 2nd, person(s) unknown stole two Global Positioning systems from a building in the 30900 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. There was no sign of forced entry.
July 14
Grand Theft - A victim reported that between October, 1999 and July 14th, 2000, person(s) unknown stole jewelry from her home on Chaparral Lane. There was no sign of forced entry.
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a van in a parking structure in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive.
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1999 Infiniti I30 was stolen from a garage in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive.
