CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one armed robbery, one strong-armed robbery, three residential burglaries, two vehicle burglaries, two grand thefts, four petty thefts, one act of arson, and five acts of vandalism.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown pried a sliding glass door and stole numerous items from a home in the 28500 block of Radbrook Court.

July 1

Strong-armed Robbery (nighttime) - A male suspect used physical force to steal a case of beer from a store in the 29100 block of Western Avenue. The suspect fled in a dark colored car.

July 2

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a cellular phone and adaptor from an unsecured car in a carport on Vanderlip Drive.

July 3

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a van in a parking lot in the 30300 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous doors from a home under construction in the 32500 block of Seawolf Drive.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect was arrested after climbing through a pet door and stealing numerous items from a home in the 29500 block of Oceanport Road.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a scooter from an open garage of a home on Via Costa Verde.

July 5

Armed Robbery (evening) - A male suspect, armed with a handgun, stole U.S.

currency from a business in the 28300 block of Western Avenue.

Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - A male suspect entered a locked car in the 2100 block of Rockinghorse Drive. There was no sign of forced entry and the suspect was scared off by a neighbor.

July 8

Arson (daytime) - Person(s) unknown set fire to a tee pee in a lot on Cinnamon Lane.
