CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, one felonious assault, one grand theft (auto), three petty thefts, one mail theft and four acts of vandalism.

June 5

Grand Theft (auto) (nighttime) - A 1991 Chevrolet Suburban was stolen from the 1000 block of Bloomwood Road.

Felonious Assault (nighttime) - A male suspect in a dark green car threw a lit firework at an employee of a business in the 28300 block of Western Avenue, causing a burn on her neck.

June 7

Commercial Burglary (nighttime) - A male suspect was arrested after stealing numerous items from a supermarket in the 28500 block of Western Avenue.
