CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included three residential burglaries, three vehicle burglaries, one felonious assault, three grand thefts (auto), three grand thefts and two acts of vandalism.

May 30

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a locked vehicle in a driveway in the 30100 block of Cartier Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a locked vehicle in a driveway in the 6400 block of Le Blanc Place. There was no sign of forced entry.

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1991 Cadillac Seville was stolen from a driveway a home in the 6300 block of Sattes Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a car stereo from a locked van in the 30100 block of Cartier Drive. Entry was apparently gained by reaching in a partially open window and unlocking the door.

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from an unlocked vehicle in the 6400 block of Chartres Drive.

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole jewelry from a home on Tramonto Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

May 31

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1987 Chevrolet El Camino was stolen from the 27800 block of Western Avenue.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke the glass in a door and stole numerous items from a home in the 5600 block of Scotwood Drive.

Grand Theft (daytime) - A female suspect stole numerous eyeglass frames from a business in the 28300 block of Western Avenue.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke the glass in a door, vandalized, and stole numerous items from a home in the 27800 block of Palos Verdes Drive East

June 1

Felonious Assault (nighttime) - A male victim was shot in the leg by a male suspect by a male suspect in the 6600 block of Abbottswood Drive.

June 2

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1979 Cadillac Eldorado was stolen from a parking lot in the 6500 block of Beachview Drive.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Two male suspects broke a glass door of a home in the 6500 block of Locklenna Drive and stole numerous items. The suspects were arrested a short time later after a short vehicle pursuit.
