Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, one residential burglary, one vehicle burglary, one other structure burglary, one grand theft (auto) and four acts of vandalism.

Grand Theft (auto) (nighttime) - A 1991 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from an underground garage in the 32600 block of Nantasket Drive.
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a door lock and damaged the steering column of a car in an attempt to steal it from an underground garage in the 3200 block of Coastsite Drive.
May 10
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a storage compartment from a car in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Road.
May 12
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown forced a window open and stole numerous items from a home in the 2500 block of Colt Road.
Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole U.S. currency from a cash register of a closed business in the 29600 block of Western Avenue. There was no sign of forced entry.
