Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one residential burglary, three vehicle burglaries, one felonious assault, one grand theft (auto), one grand theft, one petty theft, two mail thefts and five acts of vandalism.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and stole a CD changer from the trunk of a car in the 26900 block of Basswood Avenue.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and stole a car stereo from a car in the 26900 block of Basswood Avenue.
Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse from a car in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
March 28
Grand Theft - A victim reported that between March 24th - 27th, person(s) unknown stole golf equipment from an unlocked office at a golf course in the 7000 block of Los Verdes Drive.
March 30
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1987 Chevrolet van was stolen from a driveway in the 30800 block of Casalina Drive.
March 31
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a picture from a home on Seascape Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
April 1
Felonious Assault (evening) - A female suspect was arrested after hitting and choking a female victim during an argument at a home in the 3300 block of Palo Vista Drive.
