CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, one vehicle burglary, one other structure burglary, three grand thefts (auto), one grand theft, one petty theft and three acts of vandalism.

ARRESTS

Burglary - 1

March 19

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1999 Infiniti I30 was stolen from a driveway in the 29200 block of Palos Verdes Drive East.

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1997 Ford Expedition was stolen from a driveway in the 29200 block of Palos Verdes Drive East.

Grand Theft (auto) (nighttime) - A 1992 Volkswagon Passat was stolen from the 29200 block of Bayend Drive.

March 20

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a vehicle in the 2100 block of Crestwood Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

March 21

Other Structure Burglary - A victim reported that between February 26th - March 7th, person(s) unknown entered his garage and stole two speakers and a cellular phone. TThere was no sign of forced entry.

March 22

Commercial Burglary (daytime) - Two male suspects were arrested after stealing numerous items from a supermarket in the 28500 block of Western Avenue.

March 23

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from an unlocked car in a parking lot in the 28500 block of Western Avenue.
