Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included five residential burglaries, two attempt residential burglaries, two vehicle burglaries and one act of vandalism.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a laptop computer from a car in an underground garage in the 6500 block of Beachview Drive.
March 15
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a parking space in a parking structure in the 6500 Oceancrest Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole an instrument panel from a vehicle in the 6200 block of Scotmist Drive.
Attempt Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window of a house in the 31200 block of Ganado Drive in an attempt to enter. The suspect(s) left the area after finding out the resident was at home.
March 16
Residential Burglary - The victim reported that between December, 1999 and March 16th, 2000, person(s) unknown stole numerous items from her home in the 27600 block of Flaming Arrow Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown forced a door open and stole numerous items from a home in the 4700 block of Lone Valley Drive.
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a cordless phone from a home in the 30400 block of Ganado Drive.
Attempt Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window of a house in an attempt to enter a home in the 28000 block of Lobrook Drive.

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a wallet from a home in the 29200 block of Bayend Drive.
