CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included six residential burglaries, one attempt residential burglary, three vehicle burglaries, three grand thefts (auto), one petty theft and one act of vandalism.

February 6
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a window open and stole a numerous items from a van in the 6500 block of Via Lorenzo.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window open and stole numerous items from a vehicle in the 30300 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.
Grand Theft (auto) (daytime) - A 1994 Lexus LS400 was stolen from a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
February 7
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a cellular phone and a camera from a locked vehicle in a driveway in the 2500 block of Sunnyridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.
February 8
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed a screen, entered a window, and stole jewelry from a home in the 28700 block of Plainfield Drive.
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut a screen and entered a window of an apartment in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Drive. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
February 9
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1987 Buick Regal was stolen from a driveway in the 29900 block of Avenida Magnifica.
Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between February 2nd - 9th, person(s) unknown stole a television and a VCR from a home in the 30900 block of Cartier Drive. Entry was gained through an unlocked door.
February 10
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 2000 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen from an underground garage in the 5900 block of Armaga Springs Road
February 11
Residential Burglary - An informant reported that between February 8th - 11th, person(s) broke a window and entered a home in the 7100 block of Crest Road. It was unknown at the time of this report if anything was taken.
Attempt residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown attempted to pry a window open, setting off the alarm, of a home in the 32200 block of Helm Place.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a skylight window and stole numerous bottles of alcohol from a home in the 4300 block of Dauntless Drive.
February 12
Residential Burglary (nighttime) - A male suspect removed a screen, entered an unlocked window, and stole a stereo speaker from a home on Amber Sky Drive. The suspect was scared off when the victim returned home.
