CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included three residential burglaries, two vehicle burglaries, three grand thefts (auto), two grand thefts, one petty theft, one mail theft and two acts of vandalism.

January 31
Grand Theft (auto) (nighttime) - A 1991 Chevrolet pickup was stolen from a driveway in the 2200 block of Sunnyridge Road.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a window open and stole a
speaker/amplifier from a car in a driveway of a home on Headland Drive.
February 1
Grand Theft (daytime) - Two male suspects stole two purses from an unlocked car in the 6100 block of Armaga Springs Road. The suspects fled in a blue Ford Mustang.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in a parking lot in the 28800 block of Western Avenue.
February 2
Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous tools from a home under
construction in the 6700 block of Crest Road.
February 3
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown forced a door open and entered a home in the 26200 block of Birchfield Avenue. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
February 4
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown entered an unlocked window and stole numerous items from a home in the 6500 block of Eddinghill Drive.
February 5
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1981 Cadillac Deville was stolen from a parking lot in the 1800 block of Caddington Drive.
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1999 Ford pickup was stolen from the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive.
Residential Burglary - The victim reported that between January 29th and February 4th, person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a home in the 5600 block of Scotmist Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
