Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included two residential burglaries, one vehicle burglary, three petty thefts and two acts of arson.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a lockbox from an apartment in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Drive. Entry was apparently made through an unlocked sliding glass door on the balcony.

January 14

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a sliding glass door and stole a travel bag from a home in the 30600 block of Via La Cresta.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a window open and stole CD's from a pickup in the 6500 block of Via Lorenzo.
