CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included
three residential burglaries, two other structure burglaries, one vehicle burglary, one grand theft, seven petty thefts, one act of arson and two acts of vandalism.

August 5
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole jewelry from an
unlocked home in the 2700 block of Colt Road.
Grand Theft (morning) - Person(s) unknown reached in an open window,
unlocked the door, and stole a wallet and a cellular phone from a car in the 29100 block of Warnick Road.
August 6
Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between July 27th - August
6th, person(s) unknown removed a window and stole two cameras and a DVD player from her home in the 3500 block of Heroic Drive.
Arson (daytime) - Person(s) unknown set fire to a brush area at Crenshaw
Boulevard and Crestridge Drive.
Other Structure Burglary - A victim reported that between July 30th - August
2nd, person(s)unknown entered an unlocked detached garage of a home in the 3300 block of Palos Verdes Drive West and stole numerous items.
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a wheelchair
from an open garage of a home in the 26700 block of Shadow Wood Drive.
August 7
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed a screen, climbed
in an open window, and stole jewelry from a home in the 27800 block of Hawthorne
Boulevard.
August 9
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a video monitor from
a locked car in the 30700 block of Rue Valois.
