CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included
one commercial burglary, three residential burglaries, one grand theft (auto), three grand thefts, four petty thefts and one act of vandalism.

July 9
Grand Theft - A victim reported that on June 30th, person(s) unknown stole a
telescope and jewelry from her home in the 6000 block of Via Sonoma. There was no sign of forced entry.
Grand Theft - A victim reported that on June 15th, person(s) unknown stole
jewelry from her home in the 29600 block of Bernice Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary - A victim reported between July 3rd - 9th, person(s)
unknown stole numerous items from her home in the 27400 block of Elmbridge Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
July 10
Commercial Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect stole a cardboard display
from a business in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
July 12
Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1995 Pontiac Firebird was stolen from a
driveway in the 3500 block of Via Campesina.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole electronic
equipment from a home in the 5400 block of Bayridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole electronic
equipment from a home in the 3500 block of Via Campesina. There was no sign of forced entry.
July 14
Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole two bicycles from outside a
theater in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
