CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included

one armed robbery, one residential burglary, two vehicle burglaries, one other structure burglary, one grand theft (auto), one grand theft and one petty theft.

ARRESTS

Narcotics Laws - 1

June 17

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown punched a door lock and stole

numerous items from a car in a parking lot in the 6400 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.

Residential Burglary - A victim reported that on June 6th, person(s) unknown

stole a drum set from a home on Ridgecove Court. There was no sign of forced entry.

June 19

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole CD's from a locked

vehicle in a driveway in the 28800 block of Crestridge Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Grand Theft (auto) (weekend) - A 1989 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from the 5700

block of Ravenspur Drive.

June 21

Other Structure Burglary (weekend) - A victim reported that between June

16th - 21st, person(s)unknown stole a bicycle from the garage of an apartment complex in the 28100 block of Peacock

Ridge Drive.

June 22

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between June 19th - 22nd, person(s)

unknown stole jewelry from her home in the 7000 block of Via Del Mar.

June 23

Armed Robbery (daytime) - A male suspect, simulating a handgun, forced an

employee of a business in the 28300 block of Western Avenue to give him U.S. currency.
