CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one residential burglary, four vehicle burglaries, one attempt vehicle burglary, one grand theft (auto), one grand theft, one petty theft and three acts of vandalism.

ARRESTS

June 10

Attempt Vehicle Burglary (nighttime) - Two male suspects attempted to pry a door open on a car in the 27900 block of Indian Rock Drive. The suspects were scared away by the owner.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a locked car in the 27900 block of Alvarez Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Grand Theft (auto) (nighttime) - A 1987 Chevrolet van was stolen from the 30500 block of Palos Verdes Drive East.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a locked car in the 5600 block of Ravenspur Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in the 5600 block of Ravenspur Drive.

Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between June 6th - 8th, person(s) unknown broke a window and entered a vacant home on Via San Remo. Nothing was taken.

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole U.S. currency from a home in the 28400 block of Golden Meadow Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

June 12

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a window open and entered a car in the 26600 Deepbrook Drive. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
