CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, one residential burglary, four vehicle burglaries, one grand theft (auto), three attempt grand thefts (auto), one grand theft and four acts of vandalism.

June 3

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1989 Chevrolet pickup was stolen from a garage in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a cellular phone and camera from a car in a garage in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive.

Attempt Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and damaged the ignition of a car in a garage in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive in an attempt to steal the vehicle. A CD player and CD's were also stolen.

Attempt Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and damaged the ignition of a car in the 27900 block of Lomo Drive in an attempt to steal the vehicle.

Attempt Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - Person(s) unknown damaged the steering column of a car in the 27900 block of Lomo Drive in an attempt to steal the vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry.

June 4

Commercial Burglary - Person(s) unknown stole a computer from a business in the 29200 block of Western Avenue. There was no sign of forced entry.

June 7

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in the 4900 block of Ravenspur Drive.

Grand Theft - A victim reported that between June 1st - 7th, person(s) unknown stole a car stereo and CD's from her car in the 27100 block of Freeport Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a car stereo and a gym bag from a locked car in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a locked car in the 26600 block of Deepbrook Drive. There was no sign of forced entry

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown forced a glass door open and stole jewelry from a home in the 4200 block of Exultant.
