Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, one residential burglary, two attempt residential burglaries, one school burglary, four grand thefts, one petty theft and four acts of vandalism.

May 6
Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a ring from an unlocked vehicle in a parking structure in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.
Residential Burglary (nighttime) - A male victim was punched on the head by a male suspect at his home in the 6000 block of Woodfern Drive.
May 7
Grand Theft - A victim reported that between April 30th - May 6th, person(s) unknown stole a bicycle and a skateboard from the porch of his home in the 2400 block of Rue Le Charlene.
Attempt Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown attempted to pry open a door of a vacant home on Via San Remo
May 9
Attempt Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between May 2nd - May 9th, person(s) unknown attempted to pry open a window of a home in the 6300 block of Chartres Drive.
Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a bicycle from the garage of an apartment complex in the 32600 block of Nantasket Drive.

School Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown entered a classroom and damaged items at a school in the 32200 block of Forrestal Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
May 11
Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from an unlocked car in a driveway on Sweetbay Road.
May 12
Commercial Burglary (nighttime) - A female suspect stole baby formula from a supermarket in the 28500 block of Western Avenue. The suspect then fled in a black vehicle with two other female suspects.
