CRIME SUMMARY
Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one armed robbery, one attempt robbery, one commercial burglary, one residential burglary, one grand theft and two petty thefts.

April 24
Attempt Armed Robbery (nighttime) - A male suspect, armed with a handgun, demanded a male victim give him his wallet outside a residence in the 6700 block of Los Verdes Drive. The victim was able to get inside his home before the suspect took anything.
Armed Robbery (nighttime) - A masked male suspect, armed with a handgun, took a female victim's purse from her as she exited her vehicle at a home in the 2800 block of Calle Aventura.
Grand Theft (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a woman's purse from an unlocked car in a driveway in the 2500 block of Sunnyside Ridge Road.
April 26
Residential Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect and a female suspect stole numerous items from a home in the 30100 block of Via Rivera. Entry was gained through an unlocked sliding glass
door.
April 28
Commercial Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown pried a door open and stole cases of cigarettes from a supermarket in the 28500 block of Western Avenue.
