Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, two residential burglaries, two attempt residential burglaries, one vehicle burglary, two other structure burglaries, one grand theft, one petty theft and one act of vandalism.

April 15
Attempt Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown removed a window screen in an attempt to enter a home in the 27100 block of Diamond Head Lane.
April 16
Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole U.S. currency from the safe of a business in the 29300 block of Western Avenue. There was no sign of forced entry.
April 17
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown removed a garage door opener from an unlocked car in a driveway and then stole computer equipment from the garage of a home in the 30700 block of Via Rivera.
April 18
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut a padlock and stole U.S. currency and coins from a vending machine outside a business in the 31200 block of Palos Verdes Drive West.
April 19
Other Structure Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect stole sprat paint from the open garage of a home in the 1600 block of Toscanini Drive. The suspect fled when the resident came out of the residence.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a car stereo system from a car in the 27100 block of Silver Spur Road.
April 20
Attempt Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown rammed a door with a vehicle in an attempt to enter a garage of a home in the 29100 block of Oceanridge Drive.
Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a bicycle and a necklace from a home in the 28500 block of Vista Madera. There was no sign of forced entry.
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a home in the 28100 block of Peacock Ride Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
