CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, three vehicle burglaries, two other structure burglaries, two grand thefts (auto), one grand theft, one petty theft and four acts of vandalism.

Grand Theft (auto) (daytime) - A 1988 Mercedes Benz 300CE was stolen from a business in the 28100 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

March 26

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole golf equipment from a sidewalk at a golf course in the 7000 block of Los Verdes Drive.

March 28

Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut the padlocks and stole numerous items from two storage containers at a construction site on Laurel Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (weekend) - Person(s) unknown stole a car stereo and a wallet from a locked car in a driveway in the 1800 block of Crestwood Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

March 29

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from the 28700 block of Mount Sawtooth Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole CD's from a vehicle in a parking lot in the 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.

Vehicle Burglary - Person(s) unknown stole a car stereo from a car in a parking lot in the 3200 block of La Rotunda Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown cut the padlock and stole numerous items from a storage containers at a construction site in the 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.

Commercial Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a computer and lawn chairs from an office on Ocean Trails Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
