Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included three residential burglaries, three vehicle burglaries, one attempt vehicle burglary, one felonious assault, one and theft, one mail theft and two acts of vandalism.

Attempt Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown damaged a door lock in an attempt to enter a pickup in a parking lot in the 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown pried a door lock and stole a car stereo from a car in a parking lot in the 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a motocross helmet and CD's from a pickup in a parking lot in the 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a numerous items from a van in a parking lot in the 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect stole a bicycle from an open garage in the 28600 block of Friarstone Court.
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole golf equipment from the garage of a home in the 28800 block of Leah Circle. There was no sign of forced entry.

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole golf equipment from the sidewalk at a golf course in the 7000 block of Los Verdes Drive.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed louvred glass panes and stole a computer game system from a home in the 27900 block of Pontevedra Drive.
March 24
Felonious Assault (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown threw a rock and broke a window of a passing vehicle in the 27600 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. The passenger was cut by broken glass.
