Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one commercial burglary, two residential burglaries, one other structure burglary, one grand theft (auto), two petty thefts and two acts of vandalism.

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown forced a sliding glass door open and stole jewelry from a home in the 28600 block of Meadowmist Drive.
March 12
Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole electronic equipment from a business in the 1900 block of Summerland Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
March 14
Grand Theft (auto) (nighttime) - A victim reported that between March 3rd - 8th, person(s)unknown stole a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero from the 26700 block of Hyte Road.
March 16
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole jewelry from a home in the 6800 block of Kings Harbor Drive. Entry was apparently gained through an unlocked sliding glass door.
March 17
Other Structure Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a door lock and stole a saw from a storage container at a construction site on Laurel Lane.
