Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included two residential burglaries, three vehicle burglaries, one grand theft (auto), four petty thefts and eight acts of vandalism.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a car stereo from a car in the 27000 block of Silver Spur Road.

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1984 Buick Regal was stolen from the 1900 block of Toscanini Drive.

February 28

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in the 26700 block of Silver Spur Road.

March 1

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown pried a sliding glass door open and stole jewelry from a home in the 30500 block of Via La Cresta.

March 2

Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole the tires and wheels from a vehicle in a carport in the 6900 block of Los Verdes Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole CD's from a car in the 27100 block of Silver Spur Road.
