CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one armed robbery, one commercial burglary, one residential burglary, two attempt residential burglaries, two vehicle burglaries, one other structure burglary, one attempt grand theft (auto), one grand theft, four petty thefts and seven acts of vandalism.

February 6

Other Structure Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown cut a convertible top and entered a car in the garage area of a condominium complex in the 32700 block of Coast Site Drive. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in the garage area of a condominium complex in the 32600 block of Coast Site Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown forced a window open and stole two pair of sunglasses from a car in the garage area of a condominium complex in the 32700 block of Seagate Drive.

Attempt Residential Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect attempted to pry a sliding glass door open on a home in the 6400 block of Seacove Drive. The suspect was sacred away by the resident.

Armed Robbery (daytime) - A male suspect, armed with a handgun, stole jewelry and U.S. currency from two victims in a home in the 26500 block of Silver Spur Road.

February 7

Attempt Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between February 4th - 7th, person(s) unknown damaged a sliding glass door and a window screen in an attempt to gain entry to a home in the 28600 block of Quailhill Drive.

Grand Theft (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole a surf board from a carport of a complex in the 32600 block of Nantasket Drive.

February 8

Attempt Grand Theft (auto) (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and set off an alarm in an attempt to steal a car from the 28600 block of Mount Vancouver Court.

February 9

Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between February 4th - 9th, person(s) unknown stole numerous items from his home in the 4200 block of Palos Verdes Drive East. There was no sign of forced entry.

Commercial Burglary (daytime) - A male suspect and a female suspect stole numerous items from a supermarket in the 30000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. The suspects fled in a gray car.
