Crimes reported this past week in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one attempt commercial burglary, two residential burglaries, two vehicle burglaries, one grand theft (auto), and one grand theft.

Grand Theft (auto) (overnight) - A 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser was stolen from the 26700 block of Shadow Wood Drive.
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a car stereo from a locked car in a parking structure in the 5700 block of Ravenspur Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
January 10
Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between January 2nd - 5th, person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a home in the 29900 block of Avenida Magnifica. There was no sign of forced entry.
January 11
Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown removed a screen and several glass louver and stole numerous items from a home in the 30500 block of Miraleste Drive.
Attempt Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window in an attempt to enter a business in the 28600 block of Western Avenue.
Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a clarinet from an unlocked car in a driveway on Oceanaire Drive.

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole numerous items from a car in the 26700 block of Silver Spur Road.
