Shane Casey was born in Westlake
California on April 29th 1977, and
resided for the past 3 years in Vista, California. Where he met many
friends including his fiancée Crystal Cottle of Vista. Shane's
life was tragically taken on July 30th 2004 at 12:47 pm when a truck
          pulled off
          of Hilo
Road onto Thibado Road hitting Shane, the driver didn't stop he just
kept going. Shane was thrown 80 feet off his motorcycle, leaving his
          loved
           ones
within minutes. Our hearts are broken and there is no way to fix them.
          We all
understand that unfortunately sometimes horrible accidents do occur
but we will NEVER be able to understand how someone can just leave
          a person
          to
die. Shane Robert Casey was many things to several different people.
          He was
such a wonderful person. Shane would be there for anyone who needed
          him. He
was also an amazing artist who loved to draw, do tattoo's, and was
currently working at a shop rebuilding classic cars, his dream job.

Shane is already so missed, and not a single day goes by that a tear
is not shed on his behalf. I am grateful for only one thing, that myself
           and
several of Shane's closest friends will be able to remember Shane and
his talents forever, before he passed he shared his talents and gave
          almost
all of us tattoo's. A beautiful memorial has been built at the scene
were Shane passed along Thibado Road in Vista, passer bys are encouraged
          to
          stop
And look, to see how many people Shane touched in his 27 years, and
how many are affected and heart broken by this tragedy.
