Ron mentions significant interest from all Shops merchants to have an area wide retail merchants association.

RHE AWMA should be a mechanism for funneling comments/suggestions for whatever might be a hot topic at any time to RHE City. As a group AWMA should setup ideas/ processes, take votes, perform tasks in an organized fashion. Goal: To provide a mechanism as a collective source.

Marsha solicits ideas from audience members. Joe (California Cucina) asks organization’s position on Deep Valley Drive closure, mentions Chamber of Commerce’s stance. Ted replies that AWMA has insufficient information to make a uniform decision.

SIGNAGE: Ron: concept to create a viable business environment from Hawth, Cren, indian Peak. Subject of signage, "its hard to find Peninsula Center". Permanent signage from PVDN as far east as possible all the way through PVE. Sign should point out where Malaga Cove, City Hall, Peninsula Center, PVDW (people from San Pedro come into the area). RHE City is aware, but not focused on this issue at this time.
