Particulars The workshops will be conducted by Professor Nazmul Ula. He is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Loyola Marymount University. He has used the Linux operating system for more than seven years, and has done system administration for a number of UNIX operating systems and NT servers. Professor Ula has installed Linux-based networks in both SOHO and academic environments. He is the Technical Advisor for AngelNet Technology Inc, a commercial Linux-based network solution provider. He conducted eight Linux workshops in 1999 in the USA and abroad. The Linux Workshops are from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm on two Saturdays, June 10th and June 17th, 2000, in a lab setting, with one computer for each attendee. The workshops will be held in Pereira Hall, Room 32, at Loyola Marymount University. LMU is on Loyola Boulevard at 80th St. in Westchester. Lunch is on your own.
