Manure Recycling Program

BFI offers two types of manure collection programs for residents:

Metal Bin Service

Wheeled Cart Service

METAL BIN SERVICE (4’ high, 3’ wide and 7’ long) – 1200 lbs. capacity per week

Manure collected in BFI 1-or 2-yard bins will be recycled at a composting facility.
Service will be provided every Thursday.
The cost for the 2-yard manure bin service is extra. For more information or to set up an account please call 1-888-PICK-BFI.
Collection of bins may be suspended on rainy days.
Customers must provide access to the bin. BFI has dedicated a smaller “scout” truck to maneuver in tight spaces. A supervisor will visit your property prior to placement of a bin.
Manure mixed with trash or other contaminates will not be collected.

WHEEL CART SERVICE (4’ high, with a 2’x 2’ opening) – 320 lbs. capacity per week

Manure collected in BFI 68 gallon wheeled carts will be recycled at a composting facility
Curbside service will be provided every Thursday.
The cost for the service is an extra $22.50 per month. For more information or to set up an account please call 1-888-PICK-BFI.
Additional carts are $11 per month per cart.
Manure outside the cart will be collected for an additional $10 charge.
Manure mixed with trash or other contaminates will not be collected.
