that are not beholding to special interest or vocal political action groups

• Open dialogue that is transparent, consistent, and above all succinct
• Create an atmosphere where residents feel welcome to express their views before the city council without fear of criticism and pointed attacks
• Provide a reasoned and balanced approach to development issues that adheres to the vision of our city founders
• We are growing city -- Council needs the courage to tackle difficult, but important issues to the residents, such as increasing recreational use within our city
• Address street maintenance standards and responsibilities - Recent experience with outsourcing the street slurry provides an example of where improvement is required
• View ordinance and mediation process appears to be working – no need to “fix it”
