Dear RPV Residents,

When I first sought your vote, I promised you that I would work to:

• Preserve Remaining Natural Open Space
  • I kept my promise and we have now acquired over 600 acres;
• Demand Higher Ethical Standards of Council Members and More Communication with the Public.
  • I kept my promise and we have dramatically increased the disclosure of information through reporting and use of technology;
• Preserve the Landslide Moratorium to Protect our Residents and City.
  • I kept my promise and at my urging we adopted the scientifically supported 1.5 Factor of Safety to protect our city and the residents and successfully defended against a significant court challenge;
• Preserve Public Parkland for Present and Future Generations to Enjoy.
  • I kept my promise and we maintained our Parklands, while "Permitting" the Terranea Resort;
• Work for a More Resident Friendly City Council.
  • I kept my promise and we have eliminated the arrogant, aggressive City Council Culture and replaced it with a resident friendly culture.
