membership

Membership is open to all who have interest in lapidary, jewelry making, rockhounding, and all other areas having to do with rocks and gems.

Our club meets once a month and has field trips through out the year. The big field trip is to Quartzsite, AZ where rockhounds from all over the country come to sell thier wares. The club establishes a camp where club members have comradery around a bond fire.

Every spring the club puts on a show for the public to display our hobby and educate the public about our hobby.

Dues are $20 per year for a family, $15 per year for a single member. Dues are from January though December. To qualify for membership, you must attend three activities, meetings or field trips. Then at the following meeting your application will be presented to the membership for a vote. There is a fee for your member badges.
