Admissions: Admission Procedure

Rolling Hills Prep School seeks to enroll young people who demonstrate academic ability and motivation, intellectual curiosity, and good citizenship. In making its decision, the Admission Committee considers a student's past school record, recommendations from teachers and other adults, and the results of the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE).

The committee considers evidence of talent and interest in activities, such as student leadership, artistic strength, athletic ability, and community involvement, to supplement and broaden an application. The purpose of the admission process is to identify a good match between school and student in order to bring together a student body committed to personal and community growth.

To hear interviews with independent school parents, who discuss choosing an independent school, why teachers make a difference, thriving in an independent school, the importance of community, and the benefits of an academically challenging school go to the NAIS web site.
